Maturity

Well, I just spent the day scanning away to make a gallery for the website. Go there, PLEASE!!! This morning my dad and I went down to Main Street to go to the farmer's market and buy some fruit. Then we went to Jamba Juice and Main Street Bagels for breakfast. In Main Street Bagels there was this couple in front of me in line. They were both easily at least six foot 3 inches. How do two people get that tall? And if they do, how do they find each other? I think that that was the first time I have ever felt truly short in my life. Those of you who feel less fortunate about their height, I think I know how you feel. These two people were very intimidating. I have recently passed my dad in height. I passed my sister at least a year ago. All the time, when Alexis and I are together, people notice that we are sisters, but often the mistake is made that I am the older one. When they hear that I am only fourteen they freak! Like height determines age or something. I love being mistaken for an older age than I am. About a week ago, I was walking Sal, and as I was about to cross a driveway, a car pulled in. The guy behind the wheel (a cute twenty-something guy in an SUV) said "Do you walk around here often?" I responded positively, and he told me he's seen me in the mornings when I walk Sal in my uniform. I was slightly embarassed that he saw me in my uniform, but I let it fly, because I thought it was probably obvious I was a high school student. So he asked, "so you're a high school student? Where do you go?" I felt hesitant, afraid to break the "don't tell too much to strangers rule" but then I thought, what is he going to do? He already knows where I live, and lives on the same block as me, so I told him. He asked, "Did you graduate?" I said, "no... but my sister did". Then he said, astonished, "really?" I said, "Yes, I'm a sophomore". "OH MY GOD, YOU'RE A SOPHOMORE???? Wow! you look A LOT older than that. I could have sworn you had to be a senior." I felt good about myself. :) Enough for now. It's time for "Sex And the City". Just the topic for a mature gal like me. eight:fifty-two pm
